Olga Klimovich is

We have chosen Olga Klimovich as Student of the Month for August 2006 not only because of her outstanding score of 280 on the TOEFL exam, but also because of her drive, motivation, out-going personality and will to be the best at whatever she undertakes.
Olga was born in 1979 near St. Petersburg , but her family moved to Syktyvkar shortly thereafter, where she grew up and finished high school. In 1996, she entered the Northwestern Academy of Public Service. Olga graduated from her Alma Mater in 2001, but her working experience commences prior to this time, in 1998.
Finance and accounting were not Olga's career choices from the very beginning; hers was a very carefully chosen path, a determination that developed with her personal evolution as an individual. Olga's first full-time job at Europapier CIS. Her knowledge and skills grew dramatically in that position and she finally decided to focus exclusively on accounting and finance. The experience also honed her ability to identify opportunities to expand of her responsibilities and workload and, as a result, to her working experience.
That experience adjusted Olga's attitude to work and career, making her realize that if a current position does not offer any possibilities for professional growth, she must move forward without fear or regrets.
With that positive attitude, in 2003, Olga made a challenging decision to move to Moscow to accept the position of financial controller in the Mondi Business Paper Company. Building on her successes, she took on increasingly complex responsibilities over the next two years. By picking up supplementary functions, Olga created her own unique status in the department. T Two years ago, Olga was promoted to Deputy Chief Accountant where she achieved such personal goals as taking control over the accounting and taxation processes, and controlling interaction with the tax authorities.
A year later, Olga moved to a dramatically different business when she accepted a job offer from AngloGold Ashanti Russia where she still works as Chief Accountant.
